HOT 16 IS COMING ATCHA // DOPE RHYMES ARE GONNA CAPTCHA // TAPES AND GAMES ARE GONNA PLAYA // KICKSTARTER FUNDED WE SAY HECKYA!

KNOWN TO ROCK A MICROPHONE

To all of you sweet people that helped make HOT16 A Game of Dope Rhymes into a reality - thank you, thank you, thank you!  We ended the campaing over 600% from our modest goal.

We thought that HOT16 wasjust going to be a passion project, so we are super stoked to be making it a reality.  9LG really loved working with a super team of designers - and for all of the support from our friends and family on this one.

Unlike other projects that 9th Level Games has completed on Kickstarter - we won't have a long runway for this game - its not being manufactured far away - it's being made in my dining room - so we will be in touch very soon with BackerKit info, and then assemble the tapes and get them out to you - quick fast in a hurry.

INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN

For those of you that Backed us Internationally - we will have options on the BACKER KIT for handling shipping outside of the US and CANADA.  We will also have a preorder link for people that missed this "quick"-starter!

We're going to put together a digital track album for all backers if we can reach 216 backers in the last 48 hours here.

Also, were going to play Hot16 live starting at 5pm EsT/4pm CST from SXSW. With special guests! You can find it from Kickstarter Live.

Hey party people,

Heather and I got to spend our day in Austin listening to some of the dopest rappers in the nerdcore scene - including MegaRan, Sammus, Schaffer the Darklord, and Snailmate (see proof below).  It was rad.

We will be posting some videos from the event on 9th Level's website tomorrow - make sure to follow us on the Twitters and the Facebooks for more updates.

STRETCH GOAL ONE DEFEATED
ACTIVATING GOALS TWO, THREE, and FOUR

At 160 Backers, HOT 16 will get another card added to the game that will provide some additional ways to be involved in the imaginary rap game.  The details are still hazy, but the extra card will feature Marketing Actions - like doing an Album Cover.  Stay Tuned.

At 216 Backers - the 9th Level Crew will put together a downloadable EP of RAP songs - that may feature some of the coolest voices in nerdcore, dictionary, and just all around cool rappers.

The Fourth Goal - to be fully announced will feature 9th Level Games and the HOT 16 team recording a rap song that YOU HELP WRITE.  Get ready to drop some serious bars.
